A study done by Penner, Buettner, and Murray published in The American Journal of Medicine in 2013 show take a look at the impact of cannabis and CBD on insulin. The study, which took place over the course of five years, looked at 4,657 subjects, 2,554 has at one point in their life used cannabis. Out of those, 579 of the subjects currently partake in marijuana while the other 1,975 were former users. Out of all of the subjects, 2,103 subjects had never tried marijuana.
What is CBD?
CBD, or Cannabidiol, is one of the dozens of compounds that can be found in cannabis and it belongs to a class of molecules called cannabinoids. For a long period of time, marijuana usage meant that the substance commonly known as THC was the one that is the most important one, but CBD is another compound that is important in medicinal and alternative cure usage.
